The opening shots. I have to admit, I panicked at 1st. I knew there was no turning back at this point. Little by little, the overhang started to fall. The dumpster came late, so it was piled up on the grass for a bit.
So strange to see what was under there, looked like giant orange cobwebs.
The front is nearly clear, just the side and vents to go!
Now you are finally able to see the support beam hidden beneath all that ugly siding.
The demo should be complete by noon tomorrow! The framing will follow shortly after. I will be there to record the full unveiling of the column from 1906 hidden from view for the better part of 50 years! We will close tomorrow during the day, but will reopen at 6PM, in advance of our Cannonball Run screening at 8pm. Long day tomorrow!
